Abstract: Two new species of Anatkina, A. jogensis sp. nov. (India: Karnataka, Kerala) and A. multilineata sp. nov. (India: Karnataka) are described from India and illustrated based on external and genitalia characters. A key to all previously described species from India based on male genitalia characters is also included.
Abstract: The mymarid genus Pseudanaphes Noyes & Valentine is recorded for the first time from India, and a new species, P. sikkimianus Rehmat & Anis, sp. nov., is described based on a specimen collected in Sikkim State, India.
Abstract: Three new species of the genus Chimarra Stephens are described and illustrated from the Indian Himalayas. These include Chimarra pectinata sp.nov (Himachal Pradesh); Chimarra verticalis sp.nov. (Uttarakhand); Chimarra fernandii sp.nov. (Himachal Predesh). This genus is now represented by 21 species in India, amongst which 14 have been reported from the Himalayan belt.
Abstract: Nine new species of frogs of the genus Raorchestes are described from the hill ranges of southern Western Ghats. Four species are described from Bonacaud estate, Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala; two from Kadalar estate, Idukki, Kerala; one from Gavi, Pathanamthitta district, Kerala; one from Ooty, Nilgiri, Tamil Nadu and one from Naduvattam, Nilgiri, Tamil Nadu. Of the nine species described, six are bush frogs, one is a canopy frog and two species are associated with reeds.
Abstract: A new species of the genus Polypedates under the family Rhacophoridae is described from Western Ghats, India. The new species is compared with Polypedates maculatus, P. pseudocruciger and P. occidentalis, congers in Western Ghats.
Abstract: Two new species of Oxysychus Delucchi from Yemen are described. A key to species of Oxysychus of Middle East and adjacent East Africa is provided. Diagnosis of known species is also provided with distribution data.
